Data Controller
The Data Controller is Azienda Agricola Il Falcone, based in Località Il Falcone, 1 - 57028 Suvereto (LI), Italy. For any request regarding the processing of personal data, you can write to info@ilfalcone.net.
What data we collect
We collect the personal data you voluntarily provide through the contact and booking forms on the website (first name, last name, email, phone number and any other information requested by the specific form, such as the date and type of tasting requested, or the recipient's details when purchasing a gift voucher). If you make a purchase on our online shop, we also collect the data needed to fulfil your order: shipping and billing address, payment details (handled directly by our payment provider, which does not share full card details with us), and your order history.
We also automatically collect some data while you browse the site (IP address, browser type, pages visited) through technical cookies and, if you have given consent, third-party cookies. For more details, see our Cookie Policy.
Purposes and legal basis
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- responding to information or booking requests sent through the website's forms (legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request, Art. 6.1.b GDPR);
- managing purchases made on our online shop, including shipping and after-sales support (legal basis: performance of a contract, Art. 6.1.b GDPR);
- fulfilling tax and accounting obligations required by law (legal basis: legal obligation, Art. 6.1.c GDPR);
- sending promotional communications or newsletters, only if you have given your consent (legal basis: consent, Art. 6.1.a GDPR);
- ensuring the security of the website and preventing fraudulent activity (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Data related to purchases is kept for the period required by tax and civil law (typically 10 years). Data collected through contact forms is kept for as long as needed to handle your request, and afterwards for a maximum of 24 months, unless a longer period is required by law.
Who we share your data with
Your data may be shared with third parties who provide services strictly necessary for the operation of the website and our business, including: our hosting provider, our online payment processor, couriers responsible for shipping orders, and technical service providers (for example, Google for the fonts used on the site). These parties process data as data processors or, where applicable, as independent data controllers, in compliance with applicable law. We do not sell or share your data for third-party commercial purposes.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights under Articles 15-22 of the GDPR at any time, including the right to access your data, request its rectification or deletion, restrict its processing, object to processing, and request data portability. You can also withdraw any previously given consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. To exercise these rights, write to info@ilfalcone.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) if you believe the processing of your data violates applicable law.
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated periodically, for example in the event of regulatory changes or new services offered on the site. We invite you to check this page periodically to stay informed of any updates.
