Boccalupo
This red wine is originating from the historic vineyard “Bocca al Lupo”, situated in the hills around Suvereto, creating a blend made of the traditional Tuscan Sangiovese grape and the rare autochthonous Giacomino grape together with the international Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Because of the soil and with the position, this area has always been considered particularly gifted for the vine cultivation, already during the time of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. The Boccalupo is a wine of excellent quality, with intense and persistent scents.
ORGANOLEPTIC DESCRIPTION:
Boccalupo has a shiny ruby-red colour. Complex scents of spices and red fruits. The wine is well-structured and silky with sweet tannins and a persistent ending.
FOOD MATCHES:
Red, grilled meat, game, braised meat, aged and spicy cheese
