Safeno
The sub-area Crocino is placed in the north-western part of the farm estate. The soil compoition is of marly and stony origins. In this part is cultivated the classic Tuscan grape variety Sangiovese together with Canaiolo and Colorino. The Safeno red wine has fresh and well perfumed fruity scents with fine vegetable notes.
ORGANOLEPTIC DESCRIPTION:
Ruby red colour. At the nose, the wine offers a pleasant and fragrant bouquet of violets and cherries. At the palate there are well integrated and balanced tannins.
FOOD MATCHES:
Cold cuts, medium seasoned cheeses, first courses (pasta), second courses made of red and white meat
